An introduction to the chemistry of transition elements There are several changes between the new 2014 syllabus and the previous 2012 and 2013 syllabuses (which were identical). To keep things simple, I have listed the two sets of statements separately. Make sure you choose the right set! To avoid copyright problems with CIE, I can't quote the actual syllabus statements. That means that you must have a copy of this syllabus. If you haven't got one, download a copy from CIE from here. Use these statements of you are doing any exam in 2012, or your final end-of-course exam in 2013. Learning outcomes 9.5(e) and 9(f) Learning outcomes 9.5(i) and 9.6(j) Learning outcomes 9.5(k), 9.5(l) and 9.5(m) The remaining statement is needed in the first year of a two year course.
