Chemguide: Support for CIE A level Chemistry

Section 9.2 Menu

Section 9.2. Group 2

There are differences between the 2013 and 2014 syllabuses. Take care to choose the right statement where there are alternatives.

You should be using the 2013 syllabus if you are taking your final exam in either June or November 2013.

There are no differences between the syllabuses for 2012 and 2013 - so if you are taking any exam before the end of 2012, use the 2013 version.

You should be using the 2014 syllabus if you are taking AS in 2013 and the final exam in 2014.

To avoid copyright problems with CIE, I can't quote the actual syllabus statements. That means that you must have a copy of this syllabus. If you haven't got one, download a copy from CIE from here. If this link doesn't work, please let me know at once from the address on the about this site page.
