Chemguide: Support for CIE A level Chemistry

CIE Main Menu

If this is your first visit to this CIE section of Chemguide, please read the page about the CIE section before you go on.

The information is based on the 2013 and 2014 syllabuses.

You should be using the 2013 syllabus if you are taking your final exam in either June or November 2013.

You should be using the 2014 syllabus if you are taking AS in 2013 and the final exam in 2014.

There are some important differences between the syllabuses for these two years. Make sure that you are using the correct syllabus, and choose the correct options from the lists in the pages that follow.

Update February 2013: There are no differences between the 2015 and 2014 syllabuses. I will tidy up the references to the various syllabuses once the final 2013 syllabus exam is completed at the end of this year.
